Original art by Girton alumna Una Ryan, the design on this beautiful 100% silk crepe back satin scarf is based on work conducted as part of her PhD thesis on circadian rhythms.
The main design is composed using an electron micrograph of insect neurosecretory cells and a satellite image of the Okavango River in southwest Africa. The border is designed from a stained-glass window at Girton.
The scarf comes beautifully packaged in tissue and branded box.
